Barbara Ann Corcoran

 Barbara Ann Corcoran is an American businesswoman from America. The Corcoran Group is a New York City-based real-estate brokerage. In 2001, it was sold to NRT at $66 million. Corcoran left the company shortly thereafter. Corcoran was one of the original Shark Tank investors. She was a regular on every episode of ABC's Shark Tank. Corcoran has signed 53 deals in February 2020. Her largest deal was her $350,000 investment in Coverplay for 40%. Corcoran was born in Edgewater (New Jersey) as the second of ten children in an Irish-Catholic working class family. Florence Corcoran's mother was a homemaker. Edwin W. Corcoran Jr. was her father. He was a mover between jobs and the next during Corcoran's early years. Her family sometimes relied on the free delivery of food from a nearby supermarket.
